Having been fly fishing for over 20 years, my passion took a turn towards guiding years ago as I used to "guide" friends and family on local streams. In the spring of 2008 it became a second profession, as I attained my New York State fishing guide license.
My day job is as a Professional Firefighter with the Buffalo New York Fire Department, where I started in 1996. I am a certified NYS EMT, along with Red Cross Basic Water Safety, and CPR.
As the fall steelhead season comes to a close, I coach youth hockey, and also play for the Fire Dept. team.
